Dr. Cerwin joined Wake Radiology in 1976 as a diagnostic radiologist. His clinical interest is general radiology, and his certifications include the American Board of Radiology–Diagnostic Radiology, the American Board of Nuclear Medicine–Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. A native of New York City, Dr. Cerwin holds a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, and he was chief resident in diagnostic radiology at The New York Hospital at Cornell Medical Center in New York. Dr. Cerwin received his fellowship training at Cornell University Medical College as well. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Air Force Radiologists, the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Radiology, the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Cerwin retired in December 2010.
