Vascular and Interventional Radiologist

A native of New York, Dr. Fein joined Wake Radiology in 1986. His expertise is in vascular and interventional radiology and he is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. His clinical interests include vascular interventional radiology including hepatic brachytherapy, vertebroplasty, Balloon Kyphoplasty, peripheral vascular disease, and dialysis access. Dr. Fein received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency in internal medicine at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham including a mini-fellowship in vascular interventional radiology. He then completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology and abdominal imaging at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Fein is the vice-chairman of Radiology at WakeMed Cary Hospital and a former member of WakeMed Health and Hospital’s Medical Executive committee as well as former chairman of the credentials committee at the WakeMed Raleigh and the WakeMed Cary Hospitals. Dr. Fein is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, and the North Carolina Medical Society.
