Dr. Overton is director of interventional radiology services at Wake Radiology and has been with Wake Radiology since 1998. He is currently chairman of credentials for the WakeMed Health & Hospital System. The Salisbury, NC native is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Overton was a resident in both surgery and in diagnostic radiology at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and a resident in diagnostic radiology at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his fellowship in interventional radiology at Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, VA, and is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, North Carolina Medical Society, and the Wake County Medical Society.
