Women’s Imaging Radiologist

Dr. Burke joined Wake Radiology in 1999. Her special clinical interest is breast imaging and intervention. Dr. Burke is board certified in diagnostic radiology. A native of Galway, Ireland, she is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway, where she earned her medical degree. She trained in internal medicine as resident and fellow in Galway, Dublin, and at Boston University School of Medicine before completing a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Burke completed a fellowship in breast imaging at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging. In her spare time she enjoys walking and hiking.
