Body Imaging Radiologist

Dr. Gaal joined our practice in 2000. His special clinical interests include advanced body imaging, cardiovascular imaging, and imaging informatics, and he holds a board certification in diagnostic radiology from the American Board of Radiology. A native of Basel, Switzerland, Dr. Gaal received his medical training at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH. He was a resident in diagnostic radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, and he completed a fellowship in body imaging at San Francisco General Hospital, University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Gaal is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, North Carolina Medical Society, Wake County Medical Society, and the Stanley J. Sarnoff Society of Fellows for Research in Cardiovascular Science.
