Dr. Bowns joined our practice in 2010 as a neuroradiologist and works as an emergency medicine radiologist at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Bowns is a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his medical degree from Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and was a resident in diagnostic imaging at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. He also served as a fellow in neuroradiology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
