J. MARK SPARGO, MD

Body Imaging Radiologist

Dr. Spargo, whose expertise is in body imaging, joined Wake Radiology in 1996. His special clinical interest is interventional radiology, and he is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Spargo is a native of Gastonia, NC, and he holds a medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem. His residency was at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Spargo completed two fellowships at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI, one in computed tomography (CT) and another in interventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). He is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
