MELISSA C. LIPTON, MD

Emergency Department Radiologist

Dr. Lipton, whose expertise is in abdominal imaging, has been with Wake Radiology since 2003. She is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Lipton is a native of Missoula, MT, and she received her medical training at the University of Texas at Houston. She was a resident in diagnostic radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, where she completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging. Dr. Lipton is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
