Dr. Haugan’s special clinical interests are body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and cardiovascular imaging. He has been with Wake Radiology since 2004. Dr. Haugan is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. A native of Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Haugan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School in that city. He was chief resident in diagnostic radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, where he was a fellow in abdominal imaging. He is currently chairman of the Department of Radiology at WakeMed Cary Hospital. Dr. Haugan is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology. When not working, Dr. Haugan enjoys running, reading, and playing ice hockey.
