PHILIP C. PRETTER, MD

Vascular and Interventional Radiologist

Dr. Pretter, an interventional radiologist, has been with Wake Radiology since 2000. He is vice chairman of the Department of Radiology at WakeMed Raleigh Hospital and a former vice chair of Department of Radiology at WakeMed Cary Hospital. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Pretter received his medical training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was chief resident in diagnostic radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He was named Fellow of the Year in the Department of Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Pretter is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
