Dr. Leuchtmann, whose expertise is in both interventional radiology and musculoskeletal radiology, joined Wake Radiology in 2006. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Leuchtmann is a native of St. Louis, MO, and he received his medical training at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He relocated to Baltimore and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular/interventional radiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Leuchtmann is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the North Carolina Medical Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Interventional Radiology, and the International Spine Intervention Society.
