PHILIP R. SABA, MDNeuroradiologist

Dr. Saba, a neuroradiologist, joined our practice in 2001.He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in neuroradiology. After his residency in diagnostic radiology at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, he completed a two-year neuroradiology fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ. By virtue of his training and qualifications, Dr. Saba holds senior member status in the American Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Saba has had a lifelong interest in the brain and its function, and developed an interest in psychiatry during medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. After obtaining his MD, he completed three years of psychiatry residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, prior to his residency in radiology and subsequent fellowship in neuroradiology. All told, Dr. Saba spent nine years as a resident and fellow, studying neuroscience, general radiology, and neuroimaging. While not at work, he likes to make music. Above all else, Dr. Saba cherishes his faith, his wife, his children, and dear friends.
