Dr. Mintz is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in neuroradiology. He joined Wake Radiology in 2003 as a neuroradiologist and works as an emergency department radiologist at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. A native of Schenectady, NY, Dr. Mintz received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He was a resident in diagnostic radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, FL. He completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Mintz is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Neuroradiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America and the American Society of Emergency Radiology.
