RICHARD E. BIRD, MD, FACR

Women’s Imaging Radiologist

Dr. Bird, whose expertise is in breast imaging, joined our practice in 2004. He is board certified in radiology and radiation therapy by the American Board of Radiology and is a fellow in both the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging. A native of North Carolina, Dr. Bird is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem where he was a resident in diagnostic radiology at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Bird enjoys teaching and travel and is an accomplished photographer.
