Our four dedicated, fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists have created a special place for young patients from a few days old to age 18. Wake Radiology’s Pediatric Outpatient Imaging Center, designed especially for children, gives patients and their families a convenient, child-friendly, and calming outpatient setting. Our pediatric radiologists also provide imaging services to all WakeMed Health and Hospitals facilities including the new WakeMed Children’s Hospital.

We are committed to helping you find answers to your often complex pediatric health concerns. We provide pediatric physicians and family practitioners the benefit of experienced guidance to select the most effective imaging modality and expertise through our broad range of studies and procedures. In everything we do, we strive to keep radiation exposure to a minimum or to avoid it altogether.

Because of our tightly integrated practice, our patients and referring physicians have the benefit of free collaboration with our more than 50 fellowship-trained radiologists who represent virtually all the radiology subspecialties.

All Wake Radiology physicians are concerned about radiation exposure and especially to children. We are registered as an Image Gently Provider by the American College of Radiology’s Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging and uphold strict protocols to ensurethe lowest levels of radiation for diagnostic-quality images for children and adults.
