Welcome to Wake Radiology

As the region’s largest practice, we bring to bear the knowledge and expertise of 55 radiologists representing all subspecialties who perform more than 665,000 procedures each year. We are one of the only private practices in North Carolina with subspecialty-trained pediatric radiologists with an outpatient center. Our achievements happen one patient at a time. At the heart of our practice are compassion, reassurance, and respect for each patient and the physicians who care for that patient.

Just for Your Schedulers

To help your schedulers streamline their workflow and imaging orders, we’ve created the WR Scheduling Portal—an online access Web portal that encompasses everything your schedulers will need, right at their fingertips. They can call one number to schedule at all locations or use our WR Online Exam Ordering.

Our WR Online Exam Ordering allows schedulers to login once into the portal and have access to our online exam ordering system to speed up their day. As an added feature, we’ll contact your patient for appointment scheduling, thus freeing up your scheduler up for other important patient responsibilities. As well, if you ever find yourself with a new scheduler to train, we’re available to come to your office and train your new employee how to use our system and become acclimated to the WR Scheduling Portal.

Medical Office Locations

Our 17 offices are located throughout the Triangle area (Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Cary, Garner, Wake Forest and Morrisville), and we provide imaging services for five affiliated hospitals: WakeMed Health & Hospitals and Dorothea Dix Hospital in Raleigh; Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson; Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg; and Central Regional Hospitals in Raleigh and Butner. All Wake Radiology physicians are board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR), and all technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Every Wake Radiology office is accredited by the American College of Radiology as well as the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, and all are designated as Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
