InteleConnect PACS Access
Authorized referring providers and staff are able to easily review Wake Radiology reports and images for their patients instantly using our Inteleconnect PACS viewing system. Authorized personnel simply need a PC, Mac or iPad with a modern browser and an Internet connection to access Inteleconnect PACS. Please note that the Wake Radiology PACS is separate from systems used at UNC REX Healthcare and Maria Parham Medical Center. Sign Up for Inteleconnect now.
CPT Code Guides
Wake Radiology has developed guides that provide quick and easy access to current CPT codes for MRI and CT medical imaging procedures. Referring providers and their staff may request an electronic copy.
CMS Signature Guidelines
Wake Radiology and Raleigh Radiology collaborated in developing information on CMS signature guidelines for electronic imaging orders. This document outlines the specific requirements associated with authenticating orders for tests.
Wake Radiology is a contracted, in-network provider for most major managed care insurance plans including United Healthcare (10/1/17) and BCBS. For patients whose plans are not within our managed care network, we file claims on their behalf. Learn more about managed care plans
KeyIPA and Infina Connect
Wake Radiology participates in the InfinaConnect platform used by Key IPA physician organizations. We are listed in the full directory and member physicians can easily place an imaging order using the Infina technology. Practices that have been told Wake Radiology is “not on the list” may have been contacted by a third-party radiology benefit management company (RBM) that has nothing to do with InfinaConnect. EHR Interfaces and Meaningful Use
Wake Radiology welcomes the opportunity to work with referring practices to establish HL7 electronic interfaces to electronic health record (EHR) systems for report distribution (with image links) and order entry. These interfaces will partially satisfy Meaningful Use requirements for Stage II:
- Measure 1: place at least 30% of radiology orders via a CPOE system
- Measure 3: accept at least 10% of radiology results (with image links) into the EHR
To pursue this capability, please contact Matt Dewey, Chief Information Officer, at 919-232-4748.
Video Resources (CME)
Wake Radiology videos for referring providers range from women’s imaging overviews to the imaging differences between ultrasound, MRI and CT — and everything in between. Learn more about our provider video library
Wake Radiology radiologists are available to speak at medical office meetings as well as professional, civic or association meetings. We have an impressive lineup of engaging physicians with a growing list of topics to fill keynote or program needs. To schedule a speaker for your next function, please contact April White at 919-788-7908.
