MRIs, X-rays, Ultrasounds & More from in Wake Forest, NC

Whether you have a broken bone or need a more in-depth form of medical diagnostic imaging, Wake Radiology’s team of doctors and radiologists are conveniently there for you at our Wake Forest, NC medical center. Wake Radiology provides the following imaging services in Wake Forest:

  • Ultrasound. Wake Radiology’s ultrasonographers have a combined 325 years of experience in the field and are all registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. We recommend ultrasound exams for a number of areas, including the abdomen, urinary tract and aorta.
  • X-ray. Using low doses of radiation to transfer bone and tissue images onto film, our Wake Forest technologists use this form of medical imaging to reveal any fractures, chips or breaks in your bones. Wake Radiology also uses this technique to make sure previous breaks have set properly.
  • CT. Combines special X-ray equipment with sophisticated computers to produce multiple cross sectional images or pictures of the inside of the body. This imaging technique is very sensitive and provides great clarity when studying internal organs, bone, soft tissue, and blood vessels, and reveals more details than regular X-ray exams.
  • MRI. Wake Radiology’s Wake Forest imaging office is proud to be part of one of the largest body MRI programs in the Triangle. MRI scans use magnets and radio waves to create 3D images that are interpreted by our subspecialty trained radiologists.
