Wake Radiology Hires New Women’s Imaging Specialist

RALEIGH (July 7, 2010) – Wake Radiology announces that Danielle L. Wellman, M.D. has recently joined the practice.

Dr. Wellman completed a women’s imaging fellowship and a diagnostic radiology residency at Duke University Hospital in 2010. While at Duke, she served as co-chief of the radiology residency program from 2008-2009. Dr. Wellman graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Texas A & M University in 2000 and received her medical degree in 2004 from the University of Texas – Houston Medical School. The Texas native is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and American College of Radiology.

Dr. Wellman joins a team of eight women’s imaging radiologists at Wake Radiology.
