WAKE RADIOLOGY FINANCIAL POLICY

To augment our clinical care to patients, Wake Radiology strives to ensure that patients are also well cared for in a financial sense. Wake Radiology supports financial care to all patients by providing alternative payment options to help patients meet their financial obligations associated with our services. Such options allow patients to seek service from us with confidence, knowing that it will not create undue financial hardship.

Overall, Wake Radiology patients have several options available to help them to resolve pending accounts:

  • Insurance Program: Wake Radiology participates with most large health insurers and will gladly file claims when health insurance is presented at time-of-service and expected to cover our services. A current listing of accepted insurance plans is available here.
  • Cash/Credit Program: Wake Radiology accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover in most service locations and our administrative office located at 3949 Browning Place in Raleigh, NC 27609. Patients may also make payment by credit card any time through our online payment service. From 8am to 5pm, credit card payments can be accepted over the phone at (919) 787-8221.
  • Discount Program: Patients without insurance coverage accepted by Wake Radiology are eligible for discounts when making prompt payment to resolve accounts at time-of-service or soon after receiving their first statement.
  • Payment Plan Program: All patients may participate in an interest-free extended payment program for balances due. Monthly schedules and automatic account drafts are available to assist in managing payments.

Unresolved accounts with no payment arrangement may be referred to an outside agency for collection action and/or reported to consumer credit reporting agencies. Please resolve accounts in a timely fashion.
