Welcome to Wake Radiology

As the region’s largest practice and oldest practice, we bring to bear the knowledge and expertise of 58 radiologists representing all subspecialties who perform more than 665,000 procedures each year. Our practice began in 1955 in Cameron Village and since then we have grown to 16 locations throughout Raleigh, Cary, Chapel Hill, Garner, and Wake Forest to provide outpatient radiology care that’s close to where you live, work, and play. We understand that your time is important, so we strive to stay on schedule and are dedicated to providing you with the best possible standard of care.

Knowing that your image is being read by a subspecialized radiologist should give you peace of mind that you are in the right hands. Our fellowship trained, subspecialized radiologists complete 13+ years of education and medical training and are board certified by the American Board of Radiology. As well, all of our technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and our caring secretaries and support staff are ready to help you with questions or concerns. Wake Radiology is one of only a few practices in North Carolina to have four pediatric radiologists and a dedicated outpatient pediatric office that is designed for the comfort and convenience of our young patients and their families.

The physicians of Wake Radiology work closely with physicians and specialists in the area and collaborate freely on complex cases to ensure the best outcome for you, the patient. We strive to obtain the best diagnostic images while keeping your radiation exposure to a minimum.

Wake Radiology supports many local organizations that raise money and awareness about health issues such as cancer, arthritis, and heart health and have worked closely with Susan G. Komen for the Cure NC Triangle Affiliate, American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, Pretty in Pink Foundation, Triangle Arthritis Foundation, American Heart Associations START Walk, and The Red Sword Guild’s Raleigh Roundup. And because we know that the arts stimulate good health and wellbeing, we are proud sponsors of the North Carolina Ballet, North Carolina Symphony, North Carolina Master Chorale, and the Opera Company of North Carolina, to name a few.
