Emergency Radiologist
Dr. Joseph I. Ifokwe joined WakeRad UNC REX in 2019. Originally from Jos, Nigeria, Dr. Ifokwe received his undergraduate science degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and completed his medial training at the University of Texas Houston Medical School in Houston, Texas. After an internship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, he was a resident in the department of radiology and completed his fellowship in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Dr. Ifokwe is a body imaging radiologist as well as an emergency radiologist at WakeRad UNC REX. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS).
