Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant

Louis Pettygrove joined WakeRad UNC REX in 2021. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Pettygrove received undergraduate degrees in psychology and biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida. He completed his master of science in physician assistant studies at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Before joining WakeRad UNC REX, Pettygrove served as a physician assistant in interventional radiology at Johnston Health in Smithfield and Clayton and at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

Pettygrove will support the interventional radiology team at WakeRad UNC REX.  He is licensed and registered with the NC Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Pettygrove is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA) and Pi-Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants (PAEA).
