Dr. Matthew D. Miller joined WakeRad UNC REX in 2019. Originally from Raleigh, Dr. Miller received his undergraduate degree in bioengineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and completed his medical training at the University of Texas Houston Medical School in Houston, Texas. After an internship at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was a resident in diagnostic radiology at that same institution. Dr. Miller also completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Miller is an interventional radiologist at WakeRad UNC REX and Chief of interventional services at Johnston Health. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS). Dr. Miller is also a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
