Join Wake Radiology at the 2015 Relay for Life of Johnston County

Team Wake Radiology Supports Cancer Awareness Event in Smithfield SMITHFIELD, NC – June 2015 — Wake Radiology, the region’s largest outpatient imaging provider, joins hundreds of cancer survivors, residents and fellow community leaders to support the 2015 Relay for Life of Johnston County. Team Wake Radiology will take to the track at Smithfield Selma High School this Friday, June 5, 2015 at 5:00pm. The 24-hour walk raises money and awareness for all types of cancer. The event includes a survivor walk, luminaria ceremony, kids walk and a midnight 5K glow run. Wake Radiology will also have a booth set up at the event and will be raffling off a gift basket full of goodies. In addition to various Wake Radiology branded items, the give-away includes gift certificates to Cabela’s, Chili’s, Regal Theaters and BP gas. All funds raised will directly support the Relay for Life of Johnston County. So far, 73 teams and 1,100 participants have more than $258,000.
