Pediatric Radiologist
Dr. Catherine Lerner joined Wake Radiology in 2009. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Dr. Lerner received her undergraduate education at Yale University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history. She received her medical training from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and completed her internship at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center also in New York. Dr. Lerner completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, where she was chief resident in diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Lerner is pediatric imaging radiologist at Wake Radiology. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in pediatric radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR). Dr. Lerner has authored articles appearing in Pediatric Radiology and the journal Cancer. She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR).
