Schedule a Screening Mammogram
Screening mammograms do not require a physician’s order, only that you’ve seen your care provider within the past 18 months. Schedule your screening mammogram today!

Walk-In X-ray
An appointment is not needed for walk-in x-ray services. A signed order by a healthcare provider is required. Find a location near you.
MRI Services & Appointments
We offer early morning, evening and weekend appointments for MRI exams. Contact our Scheduling Team at 919-232-4700 to find a MRI office near you.
Reschedule an Appointment
Exciting news! In addition to calling us at 919-232-4700, we now accept communication via text messaging for your convenience. Please remember, we kindly request a 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you find yourself reaching out after hours or on the weekend, simply leave a detailed message including your name, appointment time, exam type, and the best phone number to reach you. One of our scheduling team members will promptly contact you to assist with rescheduling.
Insurance Information
Wake Radiology is a contracted, in-network provider for most major managed care insurance plans.
For patients with a plan outside of our managed care network, we file claims on their behalf. Importantly, most of these insurance plans have out-of-network benefits that help cover Wake Radiology imaging fees.
Patients should verify all medical benefits with their insurance carrier prior to receiving service.
Please bring insurance information to each visit. If you have insurance, Wake Radiology will file your claim and bill you for any remaining balance. Wake Radiology accepts all major debit and credit cards. We also offer zero-percent interest payment plans. Learn more
Exam Preparation
Our Scheduling Team will share information about your exam and anything you need to do to prepare. Many imaging exams require little or no patient preparation. Our Scheduling team or your healthcare provider will share exam prep during the scheduling process. Learn more
Language Services
If English isn’t your primary language, Wake Radiology will provide language assistance free of charge. Share your language needs with our Scheduling Team when you make your appointment. Learn more
Billing Questions
Our Billing Team can help with questions about exam costs, interest-free payment options and prompt payment discounts.
Wake Radiology offers an automated accounting service available 24 / 7 by phone. You may make a payment, inquire about your balance or confirm your last payment using your phone keypad. Call us at (919) 787-8221 and select Option 2 anytime for convenient payment and account information. If you still have questions about your bill, Option 3 will route you to representatives available to assist M – F from 8am – 4:30 pm.
