Neuro-Radiology

Since 1988, physicians in the Triangle have turned to Wake Radiology’s neuro-radiologists for everything from the most common neurological symptoms to the most complicated cases.

Our eight board-certified neuroradiologists bring their combined experience to the application of state-of-the-art techniques for imaging the brain and spine — CT, CTA, MRI, MRA and MR Spectroscopy. Our neuroimaging section has brought a substantial number of innovations out of the research setting and into the clinical practice arena. Through early diagnosis and close collaboration of treatment options, our goal is to help provide high-level care for our patients and their physicians. We offer neuro-imaging at seven Wake Radiology outpatient offices and at all affiliated hospital locations.

Our low-dose Commitment

Wake Radiology has long been a low-dose leader in the Triangle area, adopting rigorous CT dose compliance and quality control standards for our outpatient facilities that go above and beyond the standards set by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Convenient Office Locations

We offer convenient office locations throughout Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Wake Forest, and Chapel Hill with parking just steps away from check-in. With multiple outpatient imaging centers, appointments are often available within hours or days of scheduling, and your physician will have our results quickly. Our responsiveness and communication allow physicians to remain the focal point of care. Combined with continuity of imaging over time and across imaging modalities, these are hallmarks of a high standard of care.

Our MRI centers offer extended evening and weekend hours and sedation is available upon request for adult patients who are claustrophobic.
